💗 OHA FAMILY — ONE OF OUR OWN NEEDS US RIGHT NOW 💗

Many of you know sweet Ivette, one of the children in our co-op and part of our Outstanding Homeschool Adventures family. Ivette is 8 years old and has Down syndrome.

Her family received the heartbreaking news yesterday that Ivette has been diagnosed with leukemia. She is currently in the hospital and will need to begin chemotherapy immediately. 💔

Right now, her family has so much to focus on — getting Ivette through treatment, being there for her, and supporting her older sister, who is turning 11 years old this month and is going through this alongside her family.

As a homeschool community, I would love for us to come together and take a little bit of the weight off their shoulders. ❤️

I would like to put together some things for the family, including:

🎁 A special gift for Ivette
🎁 A special gift for her big sister
🍽️ Food/meals for the family while they are traveling back and forth and spending long days at the hospital
⛽ A gas gift card to help with the trips to Boston for Ivette's treatment
💗 A little something to remind this family that they are surrounded by people who care about them

If you would like to contribute toward these things, you can send any amount through Venmo or PayPal to me.

Please put “It’s for the Murphy Family” in the notes/memo. ❤️

There is absolutely no obligation to donate. If you aren't in a position to contribute financially, please know that your prayers, kind messages, and support mean just as much.

These are the moments when community matters most. Our children spend their days learning, playing, making friends, and growing together — and when one of our OHA families is hurting, we show up for them. 🩷

Let's surround Ivette, her sister, and the entire Murphy family with as much love and support as we possibly can.

We are rooting for you, Ivette. You've got a whole homeschool family standing behind you. 💗🎗️

Please keep the Murphy family in your thoughts and prayers as Ivette begins treatment.
