🌬️ High Wind Watch – This Weekend 🌬️

The National Weather Service has issued a High Wind Watch for the Mat-Su Valley, including Sutton, Wasilla, Palmer, Big Lake, and Chickaloon, from late Saturday night through Monday morning.

⚠️ What to expect:
• Northeast winds 35–50 mph
• Potential gusts 60–80 mph
• Wind chills 10–20 below zero

High winds can move loose debris, damage property, and cause power outages. Travel may be difficult, and exposed skin could be at risk for frostbite in a short period of time.

🔧 How to prepare:
• Secure or bring in loose outdoor items
• Be cautious when traveling
• Monitor weather updates
• Report outages if they occur
