We are so proud to announce that Xciro Michael has been named the Migrant/IEA Education Student of the Month at Wasilla High School!

Over the last two years, Xciro has shown incredible growth and maturity. Xciro approaches his academics with determination and quiet focus. His perseverance and willingness to stay committed—even when coursework becomes challenging—reflect his dedication to his education and personal goals. I am pleased to recognize Richard Strick as February’s Migrant Education and IEA Student of the Month. Richard is an honor roll student and a pleasure to work with. He consistently demonstrates a strong work ethic both in and out of the classroom. When he is not focused on his studies, Richard is an active member of the boys’ varsity hockey team. 🏒📕✏️In addition to maintaining his own academic success, he also takes the time to tutor and support other students, demonstrating leadership and a genuine commitment to helping others. Richard is a motivated, and driven individual, and I look forward to seeing his continued growth and future success.🎉

I’m delighted to announce Molly O’Neill as the Wasilla High School Migrant Education Student of the Month for December! Molly is a joy to work with and consistently demonstrates a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and dedication to her academics. She maintains an impressive 4.0 GPA and takes great pride in her responsibilities both in and out of the classroom. When she’s not diligently studying, Molly is tearing up the court as a member of the Wasilla Girls Varsity Volleyball team and showcasing her athleticism and teamwork on the soccer field. She balances her academic and athletic commitments with maturity and determination beyond her years. Molly is a bright, responsible, and gifted individual who leads by example and always strives to do her best. We are incredibly proud of her accomplishments and excited to see all that she will achieve in the future.🎉🎉
