Onward & Upward staff were able to get a great introduction to sustainable trail building from our friends at the Mat-Su Borough Recreation and Library Services. We have been starting to incorporate trail building into a few of our after school classes- an opportunity for professional/workforce development for the students as well as creating sustainable trails for student/public use! 🥾
