We are a licensed, play-based childcare facility in Palmer, Alaska

We provide care for ages 4 weeks to 12 years. Our Philosophy:

At LFCC we believe children learn more when they’re having fun. Our program emphasizes learning through play. Our curriculum is flexible enough to allow for individual growth and needs, with enough structure to promote cognitive skills and self discipline. Today we put our STEM skills to work by building different bridges and testing which classroom materials made the strongest bridge for our cars!

The kids predicted, tested, rebuilt, and problem-solved together.

Little hands, big skills!

Today we practiced our scissor skills by cutting out leaves! This fun activity helps strengthen fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and those all-important cutting skills🍃

Little Friends Childcare currently has two Teacher Aide positions available. These openings would be an excellent opportunity for a high school student seeking part-time employment and may also be a great fit for individuals looking to earn work credits for school. Must be at least 16 years of age.

Hours: Monday–Friday, 3:00 p.m.–5:30 p.m. and an opportunity for more hours on non school days.

Our childcare center is also a designated school bus stop, which may provide additional convenience for students who rely on school transportation.

Little explorers on a nature scavenger hunt! 🌿🔍

The rain didn’t slow us down today! 🌧️

For Nature Week, we explored crystals and rocks. Observing their different colors, shapes, and textures🪨

Then we challenged ourselves with a fun obstacle course to get our bodies moving!
