Such a bitter sweet day, after 2 amazing years with us here at Lucky 2 Shoes Cirrus is officially heading off on her next adventure. She’s heading south with some amazing opportunities in front of her. Cirrus has been an amazing piece of our program and we will sure miss her but she will always be part of our barn community.

Here’s to your next adventure Cirrus, thank you for for sharing your passion for horses and kindness with all of us.

Every day is full around here these days and today is no exception.
After our day full of lessons we will be taking this week’s Trail Class out on the Morgan Horse Trail. This ride is designed as an easy intro to trail riding with roughly 3 miles of easy inclines leaving from the barn. Riders must have completed our safety class in order to do off property rides. If you missed our first safety class don’t worry we will have another one on 7/8.

As for regularly scheduled lessons. Our regular lessons are full at this time. We do have a few spaces for kinder lessons for those littles (6 and under) looking to start their journey with horses. I will be responding to email inquiries this afternoon, if you haven’t heard back from me please shoot me another message.
(I need to hire an admin assistant as anyone who knows me knows I can’t sit still long enough to do the computer stuff. Haha)

Did you know we were voted best in the valley 2 years in a row! I am so blessed to have an amazing barn community of horse loving souls that cheer each other on every step of the way.

Happy Wednesday everyone!

What a beautiful night we had last night for our first race of the season! A few first race curve balls that should be ironed out by next week with our new sound system. I’m still working through all the photos but I wanted to post the results from the first race with everyone.

Also a huge shout out to Sierra at the FEC for working hard to get our arena ready for us yesterday.

Happy Friday everyone!
