What were we listening to 50 years ago?
You could have been at a pre-graduation party listening to Led Zeplin or Elton John... or... you could have been at the Home "Concert 16" featuring the Madrigal Singers and the Concert Choir.

Here's a trip back in the Way Back Machine?
Does anyone remember going to Ruth Hardy (just renamed from Tamarisk) Park to watch the filming of the Groovy TV Show?.
I remember going to this show that aired on KHJ Channel 9 in September 1967. Strawberry Alarm Clock (Incense and Peppermints was their big hit). I also remember going to other filmings with Sky Saxon and the Seeds and The Peanut Butter Conspiracy. I even participated in an on-air contest with a giant tug of war.

Unfortunately, my tv is ready to show it's last episode and I need a replacement. Just for the heck of it, I went back in time to see what was available.
I found an ad for TV's in the Walker Scott store in the Palm Springs Mall. Suggestions on which one I should choose? Or should I go down to Kenny Parker's Hallmark TV?
