Every day, our teachers, our staff, and our community partners are working togegther towards one goal: giving children the opportunity to learn and families the opportunity to thrive. At Hispanic Human Resources Center we cannot achieve strengthening our children and families without the help and support of the community.

We are espeically grateful to our classroom adopters, the GFWC Greater West Palm Beach Women's Club who droppped off enough art supplies not only for the classroom they adopted, but for all seven (7) VPK classrooms at Luciano Martinez Child Development Center. Our children have the tools to explore their creative skills thanks to these wonderful ladies.

Our hearts are heavy as we mourn the heartbreaking loss of one of our mothers in our Head Start preschool family at New Pines CDC, who lost her battle with breast cancer. 💔

She leaves behind her three young children, ages 2, 3, and 10, along with her devoted husband who is devastated by this loss. During this incredibly difficult time, we want to surround this family with compassion, love, and support.

A GoFundMe has been established by a relative to help the family with funeral expenses and the financial burdens they are facing during this unimaginable loss. If you are able and would like to help, any contribution, no matter the amount, can make a meaningful difference.

This year, LSF’s Pre-Service Training centered around the inspiring theme “Being Human Together.”

Being Human Together means recognizing that we are in this together. We provide services together. We support one another together. We make mistakes together, learn from them together, and celebrate our successes together.

We reflected on the importance of coming together to strengthen the Head Start program, reviewed our Head Start Program goals for the new school year, and embraced the changes ahead with open hearts and minds.

Being Human Together means that we are committed to learning together, growing together, and making a difference together.

⚽🏆 ONE TEAM. ONE GOAL. BUILDING CHAMPIONS. 🏆⚽

What better way to prepare for a new school year than by coming together as ONE TEAM?

Our HHRC team recently gathered for a special, World Cup-inspired staff training focused on celebrating where we've been, reflecting on what we've accomplished, and looking ahead to all that we will achieve together in the coming school year.

We celebrated the wins, learned from the challenges, and reminded ourselves that just like in soccer, no championship is won by one player alone. It takes teamwork, dedication, trust, perseverance, and a shared commitment to the goal. ❤️

And we took time to celebrate some of the most important players on our team—our incredible staff! We recognized team members for their years of service, dedication, and commitment to the children and families we serve. Their passion is what makes HHRC special.

As we step onto the field for another school year, we are ready. Ready to grow. Ready to learn. Ready to support one another. And ready to make an even greater impact in the lives of the children and families we serve.

🚒🔥 Safety Starts With Being Prepared! 🔥🚒

A huge THANK YOU to the incredible team at for spending time with our HHRC staff and teachers and providing important fire safety training!

Our team had the opportunity to learn, practice, and gain hands-on experience with what to do in the event of a fire. When you work with children, being prepared isn't just important—it can make all the difference. ❤️

One important lesson our team reviewed was P.A.S.S., the four steps for using a fire extinguisher:

🅿️ P — Pull the pin
🅰️ A — Aim low at the base of the fire
🆂 S — Squeeze the handle
🆂 S — Sweep from side to side

We are grateful to Palm Beach County Fire Rescue for helping our teachers and staff feel more confident, prepared, and equipped to keep our children safe.
