Here's What To Expect!

As of this posting, we know upwards of 4-6 jobs will be offered worthy candidates from this year's camp.
An exact number has not yet been determined. In 2020, we offered 14 jobs.
Last year 5 campers were offered jobs.
We expect somewhere between those numbers. If you show us you can work, you'll get your chance. Also, some campers will be offered spots immediately following camp, to work on our current staff in the California Winter League, which continues for 3 weeks after camp ends. If that's something you're able to do, make your travel home plans accordingly. You could pay for your entire camp fee with game fees secured afterwards.

We're proud to add MLB rookie umpire and friend Alex Tosi to our camp staff.
This season Alex's plate scores were amongst the leagues best and was on the plate for the Astros combined no-hitter this summer against the Yankees.
Young, energetic and charismatic. Campers will enjoy his refreshing approach to the game. Welcome Alex!

Same comfortable surroundings.
Same old friends we call staff, and working for one of baseball's most respected men, on and off the field, 32 year veteran Dale Scott...but that's all that's the same, as we roll out a camp that might be the first of it's kind! Welcome to the Palm Springs Umpire Camp 2022.
