Many of the Founding Memberships at The Sukha Life are already claimed, and I’m so grateful to everyone who said yes.

Some of you have asked me what a month actually looks like, so here it is. You book your soundbath. You book your Live Easy Method session. You put Open Nights on the calendar and bring someone you love, free. That’s a month where your nervous system gets real support before the week gets loud.

A few of you have written to say you’re still thinking it over. That’s completely fair. If something is holding you back, tell me. I would much rather answer it than have you quietly pass.

5 things people pleasers say, and what’s actually happening in their nervous system when they say it.

From a polyvagal view, your body doesn’t only run on fight or flight. When a real fight or flight response isn’t safe, when the threat is your boss, your mother, or a friend group you can’t afford to lose, your nervous system finds another way to stay safe. It appeases. It agrees fast, smooths things over, and makes itself smaller so nothing escalates.
That’s not weakness and it’s not a personality trait, it’s your body doing exactly what kept it safe once, still running the same program.

Fine. I’m fine. Everything’s fine. Said out loud to end a conversation your body hasn’t actually finished having.

Here’s what’s actually happening: when your nervous system tips into sympathetic activation, your amygdala goes on high alert and your prefrontal cortex, the part of your brain responsible for calm, linear thought, starts to go offline.

Cortisol rises, your body starts scanning for threat, and your mind does exactly what it was built to do in that state: loop. What’s wrong, what’s wrong, what’s wrong.

There’s not anything wrong with you, that’s an under-toned vagus nerve trying to find safety the only way it knows how. Overthinking is often just a dysregulated nervous system wearing a very convincing disguise. You are not broken, you’re overstimulated.
