🌟 Limitless Learning Starts Here!🌟

Our school was filled with excitement, smiles, and so much anticipation for the year ahead. We’re embracing our theme of Limitless Learning and dreaming BIG! Our students had the chance to write their dreams on stars, reminding us that there are no limits to what they can learn, achieve, and become. We also had a scavenger hunt throughout the school. Our students had so much fun exploring, completing challenges, and earning some awesome prizes along the way! We are SO excited to welcome our students back and begin another amazing year of learning, growing, dreaming, and discovering together.

Important Information for Meet the Teacher Event:
This event is designed as an informal mini version of an open-house opportunity during your child's designated grade-level time slot. Families are welcome to stop by anytime during the scheduled window for their specific grade level.

✅ Meet your teacher
✅ Drop off school supplies
✅ Receive important information to help your child start the school year successfully
✅ See the classroom and become familiar with the campus

Please note that there will be no formal presentations. Instead, teachers will be available to share important beginning-of-the-year information and answer questions as families visit.

For your convenience, the back gate will be available for access to this event.

Highland Lakes Elementary families!
As we get ready to welcome our students back for an amazing 2026–2027 school year, we’d like to share a few important updates regarding the FOCUS Parent Portal.

Important Dates:
- July 23 at 4:00 PM – July 26 FOCUS will be temporarily unavailable while the system is updated for the new school year.

- July 27 at 12:00 PM Back-to-School forms for the 2026–2027 school year will be available in the FOCUS Parent Portal.

Please complete these forms as soon as possible to ensure your child’s information is current. Completing your Back-to-School forms promptly will ensure you have access to your child’s schedule, grades, and other important information throughout the school year.

- August 3 at 9:00 AM Student schedules and teacher assignments will be available in the FOCUS Parent Portal (after digital forms are completed).
