A huge congratulations and thank you to our Student Cyber Ambassadors!
Cypress Woods Elementary had four students attend the PCS Cyber Ambassador Academy this week, and our Eagles continue to soar even when school is out! Our team earned the Knowledge is Power Podcast Award for creating the most informative podcast. 🏆
Way to go, Allison, Eli, Lily, and Parker!
A special thank you to Ms. Reyes and Mrs. Wilson for serving as our teacher sponsors and supporting these outstanding student leaders.
The Cyber Ambassador Program is a student leadership initiative that supports our school’s digital responsibility efforts. Selected students serve as ambassadors by promoting safe, responsible, and respectful technology use across campus while helping educate their peers about digital citizenship.
Way to go, Eagles! 🦅

Quietly last week while we wrapped up the school year, said farewell, congratulations, and good luck to our fifth graders and celebrated the retirements of some of our finest teachers, Miss Cindy, Ms Edlemen, Coach Crispyn, and Ms Slater many missed a very important announcement. Not wanting to take away anything from his students or staff, Mr. Stevens quietly announced his retirement. Mr Stevens has been a trusted, loved, and admired administrator at CWE for eight years. He has been a humble leader, friend, and teacher. The quiet way he leads was so admirable, always with an encouraging word or a supportive gesture. He would drive all over Pinellas County even if it meant he was just supporting one of his students.
We wish him the best in his next chapter. We want to make sure we celebrate his accomplishments and all of the acts both small and large that continue to make CWE one of the top elementary schools in the county.
Mr. Stevens ….We will all miss you very much..
All together now…
And as always… GO EAGLES! 🦅

The deadline to record your volunteer hours for this school year is Friday, May 22nd. They will be reported to the Department of Education at the end of the school year.
Your volunteer hours make a huge economic impact at our school and in the PCS district, and are used for grant proposals, reports, and recognition of community support. That is why it is so important that you record your volunteer hours. We know you don’t do it for the income; you do it for the outcome. Your time and support are priceless and the impact you make is far reaching. Please take a few minutes to log into your volunteer account and log your hours. The dates are not as important as the hours themselves, so feel free to enter them all under the current date as one entry per type of activity. If you would like assistance please contact [email protected]
