Delilah's Wish

Prayers, please, for Miss Delilah. She is being transferred to St Joseph's Children's Hospital for unseen seizures caused by her new medication. At least that is the thought so far.

Tropical storm day and Delilah helped me put the roast and veggies into the crackpot. Dinner is now done and ir is delicious.

Oh man Delilah's bus was late picking them up from school. We shall see how this effects her. Meanwhile her service dog pouts while waiting.

Ok it's late and time to stop cleaning for the night. I did not clean non-stop today. Why because my little super humans needed my attention as well. We had a painting break once the dinning room was all clean, a bath break for Liam and a Pokémon break for Delilah. I do feel like I got a ton done and will continue tomorrow.

Ok super parent/guardians and family/friends. Let's talk about us as adults being overwhelmed and no don't be ashamed if your home looks like my pictures I am sharing from this past week. We as super caretakers have a huge responsibility and feeling overwhelmed is part of the job but figuring out how to overcome it is the key. Please no rude, hurtful or judgment comments because we all are just human and we have super humans to care for.Now let me explain why my kitchen and dinning room were the last of my worries this week. I have had both of my children home all week. I did tidy up the rest of the house all week but that was all I had time/energy for. Both sick, one with meltdowns because she could not regulate her emotions or explain how she was feeling, the other well he is a toddler and was vomitting and diarrhea all week. Oh yeah and both had super Snotty noses that never ended. I also caught whatever super virus my super humans passed onto me. Delilah started feeling better on Thursday but not well enough for school and Liam ended up on meds. So was my focus on my house or kids? I had to focus on my kids and work, so my house work got a little behind. So now I feel overwhelmed with having to clean everything up all on my own. I made my cleaning list of what I need to get done because that is how I deal with feeling overwhelmed. First on my list was the kids room, especially since no one has vomited since Thursday afternoon. So last night I changed all bedding yesterday, picked up all toys (I will sort and organize later), cleaned the carpets, washed all rugs and stuffed animals. Then I picked up the living room. Called it a night and got some sleep. Now today I will continue my list. Yes my list is detailed and I have shared a picture. I mark it off as I get it done and that way I know where to pick up if I have to stop for the day. This next week while the kids are at school it is back to my normal cleaning schedule and yes I am posting that as well.

Delilah said "mom share Rosie's pictures from the bus stop". Let me explain why she wants to share. Delilah recieves tons of benefits from having her service dog. Let me introduce RoseBud to everyone. I found RoseBud at an animal shelter. She is a pure Great Pyrenees and the breeding facility she was at had to surrender their animals. I got her when she was 4 months old. I have been training her everyday since. She is now 1 year ans 4 months old. She goes just about everywhere with us. She recently made her first trip to the zoo. Yes she is still in training but we train every day. She loves playing hide and seek with Delilah. This helps with the seek training we are doing. Rose can track Delilah for up to 2 miles and 4 hours after she was in the areas. There is more training she has done and is still doing.
