The halls of Sutherland Elementary were full of excitement today as we celebrated both our graduating 5th graders and our returning Class of 2026 seniors during this year’s Clap Out! It was such a special moment to see our former Seahawks return to the place where their journey began, this time leading our 5th graders as they prepare for their own next adventure. From our littlest Seahawks to our biggest Seahawks, we are so proud of each and every one of them. As they move on to new schools and new opportunities, we hope they always remember they will forever be part of the Sutherland family. Congratulations to the Class of 2026 — your Seahawk family will always be cheering you on! 💙💛

Attention all local high school seniors!! Did you attend Sutherland Elementary? If so, we would love to invite our SES alumni from the 5th grade class of 2019 back to join us for this year’s clap out and walk around the school!! This will take place on Thursday, May 28th. Please arrive in your cap and gown at 9:30 am. Congratulations to our Battle of the Books team for coming in 2nd place in the District. Starting with 70 schools, narrowed down to 10 finalists and placing 2nd. Way to go "Wormbooks"!
