Miss Lavonne's Child care and Pre-School Large family childcare. Licensed to care for up to 14 children. Large play yard and Preschool area. Located near Lincoln and Carter Elementary Schools.

We are also close to College of the Desert for those who attend. We provide all meals during your child's day here. We offer a pre-school program that is geared toward your child's needs. We believe that outdoor play is just as important as indoor work and play. We try (whether forbidding) everyday to spend as much time running and playing so that children are able to learn the developmental stages of play and master them. Indoors we learn to use our fingers and hands to master different challenges everyday.

After the zoom meeting with licensing, I was happy to hear we don't have to distance children anymore or separate them at playtime. We are still wearing our masks and taking temperatures everyday. Teachers wear gloves when handling food and any other areas of children and cleaning. Handwashing all day has brought comments from parents that they see it happening at home. Just a small reminder to you parents. Your children have not been vaccinated yet. Please make sure they wear masks when they go out. We as parents have to protect those who don't know how to protect themselves. Mask up to protect the little ones.

We are currently seeking a second assistant. Monday - Friday. Monday - Thursday 2.5 hours. Fridays 5.50 hours. Must have experience with children and fill requirements to work with children. $13.00 per hour.
