UCR Osher The University of California, Riverside's Osher Lifelong Learning Institute was created to provide college level, stimulating courses for people 50 & older.

We learn for the joy of it and love it! Since 2003, UCR Osher has provided a stimulating learning experience at a modest cost that enriches the intellectual, social, and cultural lives of people over the age of 50. Our courses and lectures are only open to Osher members, so learning takes place in a peer environment. There are no tests or grades and no entrance exams or minimum educational background restrictions — the only requirement is a love of learning. In addition, UCR Osher offers discussion groups, lectures, seminars, small study groups, special educational tours and public forums. Members are kept abreast of cultural events that offer senior discounts throughout Riverside County. Osher classes are offered in Riverside and the Coachella Valley.
