The first day of Spring '22 term is January 31, 2022. To kickstart a wonderful semester, Financial Aid will have extended hours:
Friday, January 28th, 8:00AM - 5:00PM.
Saturday, January 29th, 9:00AM - 2:00PM.

The Financial Aid Office is still accepting SAP Appeals until May 8th for students that are on suspension!
Visit our GetSAP site at collegeofthedesert.get-counseling.com/sessions and watch the counseling session called “An Overview of the Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) Financial Aid Appeal Process.” Print your certificate, application, and any supplemental documents. Submit your appeal requests to your student portal, our fax at (760) 776-7338, or to [email protected].

The Financial Aid Office does not anticipate any disruption to financial aid disbursements due to the COVID-19 closure. Please note, that during this high-volume time, the fastest way to get your question answered is through our Chatbot, FATV, and visiting your Student Self-Service Portal.

As some of you may be aware, if you were contacting the Financial Aid office, our staff has been accepting calls from the public despite campus closure. Effectively immediately, there will be no one to answer calls, but you may contact our office for general questions at [email protected].
As of right now, all disbursements for Pell will be on time.
