With Little Treasures Daycare, you get a private intimate home setting. They get to feel at home, very small class size, only one caregiver throughout their entire time here, individualized time and attention, age range from 18 months to 4 years means they teach and learn from each other ♡ We also have a huge focus on social/emotional development! Such an important part to learning everything as they grow ❤️
I've been in childcare for 25 + years, babysitting since 12 , worked in large daycares, nanny of twins for 8 years 60 hours a week, worked with homeschooled and school aged kids. Have had the in home daycare for over 8 years now and love it ❤ DCF childcare trainings, paraprofessional school certification, CPR/ first aide certified, background checked ❤ I am also a yoga, meditation, mindfulness, & sound practitioner. Also a Kidding Around Yoga certified kid teacher, the kids will learn mindfulness, calming techniques, and stress management tools to take with them as they get older through songs, games, postures and more!!
We do arts and crafts, circle time, show and tell, outside time, group and individual play, free play, and so much more! All in a small, easy going home environment. The kids focus on learning through play, loose themes, developing social emotional development, they love one another and become a little family! We focus on independence and incorporate some Montessori values ♡ We are open days Monday - Friday 8 to 5 ( a little adjustment as in 745 and 530 may be available if absolutely needed for work) Also if needing other hours let me know that too and I'll see if we can make it work.
We also have parent night outs and kid events, pizza, hangout, movie, so parents can get a break too!
