🌟 LOCAL BUSINESS SPOTLIGHT: Bartletts 🌟

A HUGE thank you to Bartletts Restaurant for generously donating gift cards to support Wadsworth Elementary PTO! We are so grateful to have amazing local businesses that continue to show up for our school and our community. ❤️

If you haven’t been to Bartletts yet, put it on your list! Their menu is fine dining with a Southern flair, with everything from braised beef short ribs and Southern fried chicken to shrimp & grits, fresh seafood, lamb lollipops, fried green tomatoes and more. And that fried chicken sandwich with pimento cheese, honey and pickled green tomato?! 🤤

They also have such a cool speakeasy-style atmosphere, with indoor and covered patio seating—perfect for a date night or special occasion.

🐾💙 Our Community Showed Up for Wadsworth! 💙🐾

What a week of welcoming our Wadsworth teachers and staff back to school!

On Tuesday, their first full day of meetings, PTO helped cater lunch to keep everyone fed and fueled for a busy day. 🍽️

Thank you Sweet Melissa’s for generously donating a sweet scoop of ice cream for each of our staff members! The perfect little treat to welcome them back! 💙

Then, before Meet the Teacher on Friday, a HUGE shoutout and thank you to Marco’s Pizza on Belle Terre Parkway for generously donating pizza to feed our staff! 🍕❤️ We truly appreciate local businesses that are willing to step up and give back to our school.

Throughout the week, we also had several wonderful local businesses donate items to help us welcome our staff back and show them a little extra appreciation as they prepared for another school year.

It truly takes a community, and we are so thankful for ours! 💙🐾

Lesson #1: Never Start the School Year Hungry! 🍎📚

Today our PTO had the privilege of rolling our Welcome Back Cart around campus, delivering snacks, drinks, and a few sweet treats to our incredible teachers and staff as they worked hard getting their classrooms ready for an amazing school year.

A huge thank you to our PTO volunteers and these awesome kids who helped spread smiles all over campus! ❤️ We hope this small gesture reminded our staff just how appreciated they are.

Here’s to a fantastic school year at Wadsworth! We can’t wait to see all the amazing things our students and teachers accomplish together. 💙🐾
