My name is Aimee Kirksey, I am classically trained with over 40 years of music experience, beginning with learning piano as a child and later instructing others. I am chairperson of the National Piano Guild of Piano Teachers for Northeast Florida, member of the National Federation of Music Clubs, and Secretary for the Florida Federation of Music Clubs St. Although focus in my career has been piano

, I am familiar with a multitude of music platforms and have continued my education throughout the years in various ways. Piano by Aimee Studio is excited to be celebrating 9 years as a studio in 2026! Although not required, students are encouraged to participate in various festivals, conventions, and auditions competitively if desired. I am passionate about playing the piano and would love to share this joy with you or your child. My minimum age is 3 years old. It is never too late to learn piano, older students are welcome as well. I approach each lesson with an individualized plan. You will receive lessons that are catered to not only help you succeed as a student, but also continue to excite you. Technique is developed with a traditional method approach, priority is given to developing music reading skills. I provide lessons to those at all levels, Beginner to Advanced. Congratulations Junior Convention participants! It was a fantastic weekend! This year's competition was fierce as always, but most importantly I heard from you and know you had some of your best performances! This is a huge win and super hard to do in a high pressure situation, so very proud of you all! Special shout out to Joy and Grace, winning first in piano duet, Leah and Mackenzie winning first in vocal duet, and Claire and Landon taking honorable mention in piano duo!!!

So proud of all Greater Jax participants! Thank you, students, for your hard work, courage, and growth. Your dedication and willingness to perform and learn matter far more than any placement. The real achievement is showing up, giving your best, and continuing to grow as musicians—this is what success looks like!

Congratulations to Victoria Baratta, Eva Bogoslov, Sadie Boyett, Landon Bushnoe, Olivia Hamner, Callie Jahren, Kennedy Jahren, Claire Kirksey, Leah Kirksey, Mackenzie Kirksey, Kailani Raby, Kiley Rogan, Nailee Santos, and Westley White—you all did amazing!

Our studio also celebrated 3 third-place finishes, 4 second-place finishes, and 1 first-place finish this year!

Good Morning Students and Families! What accomplishments for you all as we head into Festival THIS Saturday. Our area teachers are submitting an article to the Palm Coast Observer and Flagler Live to highlight the event, I am hoping all of your hard work might be recognized publicly. Just some reminders for November...I am planning to go ahead and teach Veteran's Day, but will be taking off November 27-29th. I will be offering make up lessons on the 25th and 26th for those that would like them. Please let me know as soon as possible if you plan to so I can adjust my schedule.
