Today, a neighbor came to ECHO’s Riverview Resource Center looking for help getting to and from work. 🚲
While staying at a shelter, he had been walking 45 minutes each way to his job. Today, he received a bicycle—and with it, a little more freedom, reliability, and hope.
He shared that having dependable transportation will make it easier to keep his job and continue working toward stability and self-sufficiency.
But what touched us most was what he said after receiving the bike:
“I have felt so loved.” ❤️
Because sometimes, a bicycle is more than transportation.
It’s a reminder that someone sees you.
That someone believes in you.
That you’re not alone.
Your gift to ECHO can be that reminder for another neighbor.
When you give, you’re not just providing food, clothing, transportation, or other resources. You’re telling a neighbor who is fighting to rebuild their life, “You matter. We believe in you. Keep going.”
Help us remind more neighbors that they are loved, supported, and worthy of a chance to move forward.
❤️ Give today and help someone take their next step.
