Stingrays VPK A is Building & Learning! 🧱🌈
Today, our little learners picked their favorite color LEGO and worked together to create a graph showing our class favorites! 📊💙❤️💛💚
They also practiced writing their names under the color they chose, combining name recognition, writing skills, color recognition, early math, counting, and graphing all in one fun, hands-on activity!
Through a developmentally appropriate, play-based approach, the children strengthened fine-motor skills, communication, decision-making, social cooperation, and early mathematical thinking while having fun learning together! 🌟

🎨🐠 Colorful Creativity in Angelfish! 🐠🎨
Our Angelfish friends had so much fun exploring color and creativity today! 🌈✨
Using large paint droppers, the children squeezed and dropped colorful paint onto paper towels, creating beautiful designs and patterns. 🖌️💧
This fun sensory activity encouraged fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, color recognition, and creativity while letting our little artists experiment and have fun! 💙💛❤️💚

🐢💛 Sea Turtles Learning & Growing! 💛🐢
Today in our Sea Turtles classroom, we focused on healthy habits, counting, body awareness, and building those important little life skills! 🥰
📚 We read Noses Are Not for Picking and have been encouraging our little ones to practice wiping their own noses with tissues—building independence and healthy self-care habits! 🧻👃
🎶 We also danced along to “Head, Shoulders, Knees & Toes” and My Body, helping us learn and identify different parts of our bodies while getting our wiggles out! 💃🕺
✋💛 For our hands-on activity, we traced our hands onto yellow paper, working on:
✨ Touch and sensory exploration
✨ Color recognition
✨ Fine-motor skills and hand strength through grasping glue sticks
✨ Hand-eye coordination
✨ Self and friend recognition as we identified whose hand and picture belonged to whom
✨ Cognitive skills through matching, identifying, counting, and following directions
And of course, we had some dino fun along the way! 🦖🦕💚
We are so proud of all the little ways our Sea Turtles are learning to be more independent while having FUN! 🐢💛🌊

🪼💙 Jellyfish Classroom Fun! 💙🪼
Our Jellyfish friends had a blast with a Hula Hoop & Ball Relay Race! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️ The children hopped from circle to circle, collecting each ball and placing it into the containers. 🌈⚽️
This fun activity encouraged gross motor skills, balance, coordination, following directions, and teamwork while also incorporating our shape and color of the month! 🔵🔺
Learning through movement makes our days extra fun! 💕🪼✨

🪼📊 Jellyfish Class Gets Graphing! ✂️🖍️✏️
Today our Jellyfish friends had fun learning all about graphs by choosing their favorite school supply! 📚✨

From ✂️ scissors to 🖍️ crayons and ✏️ pencils, our little learners made their choices and helped create our very own classroom graph! This activity encouraged counting, decision-making, early math skills, and recognizing more and less. 💙

Learning is always more fun when we do it together! 🪼💫📊

🐢💛 A is for Apples in our Sea Turtles Class! 🍎🎨
Our Sea Turtles had a fun, hands-on learning experience as we continued exploring the letter A and the color yellow! ✨
We used paint and apples to create our very own “A”s—combining learning with sensory-filled fun!
This activity helped strengthen fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, color recognition, and sensory awareness while encouraging creativity and letter recognition. 🖌️🍎💛

Our Angelfish friends had a colorful sensory experience today! 🌈
They squeezed, pressed, and moved paint around in sensory bags to discover what happens when colors mix together. 🎨✨
This fun, hands-on activity helped strengthen fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, sensory awareness, and creativity—all while having a colorful blast! 💙💛❤️
