Melanie is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin–Madison and has enjoyed two highly successful careers. She began as an occupational therapist, working with children with disabilities and, later, with infants and their parents. She then brought her talents to real estate, becoming a highly successful luxury residential developer in Minneapolis.
As a developer, Melanie wore many hats, working closely with zoning boards, attorneys, architects, contractors, homeowners, and others to bring each project from vision to reality. She loved that no two days were ever the same and took great pride in creating beautiful, sought-after homes and communities that continue to make a lasting impact.
Melanie’s involvement with The Israel Bridge has been deeply personal. She and her family have opened their homes in both Florida and Minnesota to host Israeli student-athletes, forming lasting relationships that have been incredibly meaningful to her. She has also played an instrumental role in raising funds to support The Israel Bridge and its mission and loves being part of the organization’s Board.
Inspired by her parents, Melanie learned from an early age the importance of giving back to her community and helping others whenever possible. She brings that same spirit of generosity, connection, and service to The Israel Bridge.
Retirement has certainly not slowed Melanie down. She rarely sits still and enjoys tennis, golf, pickleball, biking, traveling, cooking, and entertaining. She is an avid Minnesota Vikings fan and, most of all, loves spending time with her grandchildren.
