Our Storytime Fun week at Crescent Home Child Care was filled with imagination, creativity, and hands-on learning! 📚✨
🥧 We read The Princess and the Pie, made our own paper pies, and baked a real apple pie together. 🕷️ We discovered the story of Anansi and created our own paper spiders. 🐔 We read The Little Red Hen, made our own hens, and learned that being helpful is one of the best ways to show we care.

Learning is always more meaningful when children can read, create, explore, and have fun together. We love making memories while building confident social learners from the beginning! 💙💚

🌞 Picnic Week was a huge success at Crescent Home Child Care!

Our little learners had so much fun sorting and graphing picnic foods, creating paper sandwiches, decorating a class picnic blanket, enjoying a pretend picnic, and finishing the week with a real indoor picnic where everyone made their own sandwich!

We also learned about honesty by reading The Boy Who Cried Wolf and talking about why telling the truth matters.

Learning is always more meaningful when children can explore, create, and have fun together! 💙💚

There is no greater reward than knowing you made a difference in a child's life.

Today, I received this sweet video from the parent of two of my former students, Giulio and Lucas. Hearing them say they miss me, that they loved being in my classroom, and that I was their favorite teacher truly touched my heart.

Moments like these remind me that teaching is about so much more than academics. It's about building trust, showing love, encouraging confidence, and creating memories that stay with children long after they leave your classroom.

Thank you, Giulio and Lucas, for making my day! I am so proud of the amazing young boys you are becoming, and I will always be cheering you on.

What a wonderful first day of Summer Camp at Crescent Home Child Care! 🌿☀️
