On Friday we celebrated some awesome kiddos who were selected to be their class student of the week! We also celebrated Ms. Elba Rodriguez for being our staff member of the week! Ms. Rodriguez has worked extremely hard to to build a classroom with high expectations while establishing routines and procedures to ensure student safety. Way to go Ms Elba!

This November, two local funding measures are on the ballot. Neither are new. Both are already in place.

The first is the Sales Surtax — a sales tax renewal that funds safe, maintained, and modern school facilities.

The Surtax is the small portion of sales tax that stays right here in Brevard to keep school buildings safe, in good repair, and up to date. It funds three things: secure buildings, facility investments, and technology infrastructure.

Over the next several weeks, we'll share more about what the Surtax funds.

Celebrated our awesome Students of the Week this afternoon! We also recognized Mrs. Fuentes as our Staff member of the Week for always having a positive attitude and being the leader of a team that shows great teamwork!!!!
