On their first day in Italy, our world travelers visited the Roman Forum, the Colosseum, and feasted on delicious authentic Roman pizza.

Before heading to Italy, scholars enjoyed a wonderful time in Greece. The toured Drepanos Beach on the Ionian Sea and Meteora, where they visited one of the six remaining monasteries where early Christians escaped after the fall of Rome.
