Thank you to everyone who attended our STEAM Night! Special thanks to our local community who came together to make this night a success:
First and foremost to Mrs. Kirkbride who put in so many hours to reach out to her contacts and did so much to make sure tonight ran smoothly!
*Brevard Astronomical Society for showing us Venus, Jupiter, the moon, and Orion through their amazing telescopes
*Erna Nixon Park for teaching us about nature and preservation
*Florida Wildlife Hospital for introducing us to Bella, the American Kestral, and Dijon, the yellow rat snake, and teaching us about how our actions affect the environment
*Sea Turtle Preservation Society Melbourne Beach for teaching us about sea turtles
*Bayside High School BETA students for running our catapult and static electricity booth
*Palm Bay Magnet HS Robotics team for showing us their awesome robots
*Florida Institute of Technology STEM Outreach for their music demonstration, electric current demonstration, and sharing their robots
*U-Haul for teaching us how to drive with appropriate weight
*Melbourne High School Voltage team for doing paper circuits, and their Science Honor Society for mixing oobleck and making bouncy balls
*Melissa Jacques, Realtor - Jacques Homes Realty - Keller Williams Brevard for doing strawbees
*Mrs. Mau and her Scouts for making cars
*Mr. Dilger for his mealworm madness
*Mrs. Melanie Johnson for racing cars
*Mrs. Waterbury and Mrs. Briggs for doing Osmo and tangrams
*Mrs. Hill, Mrs. Gerhart, and Mrs. Martinez for helping us study our fingerprints and showing us how well we wash our hands
