French Woodwork

This was a custom ordered epoxy oil bottle holder made with red cedarwood and blue epoxy pigment. The person seen a similar epoxy holder I made for a giveaway and she wanted one of her own, but she wanted some cairn stones engraved on it.

I took it a little further with the design and added an oil bottle sitting on top. Using my laser engraver made this task possible and also a little more fun. I made it and then drilled the holes for the oil bottles.

I poured a clear coat over the entire piece and it just made it pop! I ended up having some offcuts left, so I took them and made a matching necklace out of it as a surprise gift for her as well.

There's just something about mixing woods together to create a unique look for each and every board.

I've made live edge boards, cutting boards, bread boards, etc.

But sometimes you get a vision for something special, and making that come to life is pretty awesome.
