Riviera accepted the ECTAC Exceeding Expectations Award in Orlando today. Way to go to our Riviera community!!!

Congratulations to Mrs. Harvey, who was recognized at tonight’s school board meeting as the new principal of Riviera. We are also honored to announce that Mrs. Brao Stephens was approved tonight as our new assistant principal! We are so proud of them both!

This final week of the school year has been full of fun and celebration for the BEST kids in Brevard! We want to thank our staff for creating these moments for our students, we had much to celebrate!

Congratulations to one of our 6th grade students, Kaylee, on receiving the 6th Grade Student Award from the Palm Bay Rotary Club. We are so proud of her and the wonderful person she is at school, at home and in the community!

Congratulations to our Ms. Adams on her selection as the BPS Rookie Teacher of the Year!! This award is given to beginning teachers that have already made a big impact on the students they serve….which is Ms. Adams! Being a beginning teacher is hard but Ms. Adams has conquered it flawlessly with her infectious attitude, strong relationships with students, and high student achievement. Way to go, Ms. Adams!!

We are so incredibly proud of our 3rd-6th graders on a job WELL done on the FAST Reading today!! We hope they all had ice cream for dinner because they earned it! 🙂

Tomorrow is math!

Tomorrow begins FAST testing, when our students get to show all they have learned this year. Our students are amazing and are the definition of perseverance. We know, no matter what, they are going to be the movers and shakers of the world!

It’s almost show time! We have 1 school day left before our 3rd-6th graders take the FAST! We want to give a special shout out to our teachers, Title I team, and literacy coach, who have all worked tirelessly to be sure our students are set up to do their best. Let’s go RivierA!!!!
