💙 Royal Palm Shows Up for a Reason! 💙

This week, our Royal Palm family proudly participated in a Free Dress Week in support of Give Yourself a Reason

We are incredibly grateful to our students, staff, and families who chose to wear their Give Yourself a Reason shirts and help raise awareness for a cause that impacts so many lives. Every shirt worn, every conversation started, and every show of support helps remind others that they matter and that there is always a reason to keep going.

At Royal Palm, we believe that education extends beyond academics. We strive to build a community where kindness, connection, leadership, and mental wellness are valued and supported. The mission of Give Yourself a Reason aligns closely with those beliefs by encouraging hope, resilience, and open conversations about mental health among teens and young adults.

Thank you to everyone who participated and helped make this week meaningful. Together, we are spreading a message that can truly change lives:

As the ‘26 seniors step out into the world and plan for the future, the Royal Palm staff can’t help looking back and wondering where all the time went! 🥲 We are SO PROUD of the leaders they have become, and SO EXCITED to see where they will go! We wish them good luck as they enter the next chapter of their lives 💚🐊

This year, we are proud to recognize two incredible educators whose commitment and loyalty to Royal Palm Charter School have made a lasting impact on our community.

For 25 years and 20 years respectively, Tresa Vernon and Kelly Hambidge have poured their hearts into this school — believing in our mission, supporting our families, and most importantly, helping children grow, learn, and succeed.

Their dedication goes far beyond a job. It is a commitment to every student who has walked through our doors. It is steady leadership, encouragement, and an unwavering belief that all children can achieve.

To honor their years of service, we are creating a Memory Book filled with messages, photos, and stories from former students, parents, and staff whose lives they have touched.
