🏆 A heartfelt thank you to the pool industry! 🏆

I am incredibly honored to be recognized as a 2026 Pool Nation Trailblazer of the Year nominee!

This recognition means so much to me because my journey in the pool industry has been built over 23 years of learning, growing, serving, teaching, and advocating for safer pools and better education.

Before starting Space Coast Pool School, I spent 17 years as a State of Florida Pool Inspector, working to protect public health and safety through inspections, education, compliance, and investigation. Those experiences helped shape my passion for educating pool professionals and sharing knowledge that can make a real difference in our industry.

From inspections to education, from the classroom to the podcast microphone, and from meeting incredible professionals across the country to building relationships with the amazing SCPS instructor team—this journey has been something I could never have accomplished alone.

Thank you to everyone who has supported me, believed in me, attended my classes, listened to the podcast, worked alongside me, and encouraged me throughout the years.

I am sincerely grateful to be part of what I believe is the best industry I have ever worked in. 💙

Can’t believe we’re back to them deciding to close the aquatic center, which is the only public pool in Palm Bay open with swim lessons! With the drowning rates have gone up in Florida and we’ve had so many drownings this year that this is even being considered is beyond me! But this is what politics and the economy is at right now.
