We’re thrilled to announce our very first Family Bookclub — a chance to start reading as a family and make memories through stories.

Sign up on Focus to reserve your spot!
Cost: $12 per family of four, plus $2 for each additional immediate family member.

Your $12 includes admission to our Bookclub Night, where families will enjoy themed activities, snacks, and fun inspired by the book — plus a rental of the novel itself.

Books will be delivered: the week of September 21st.

Please note: Books must be returned in order to attend our Family Bookclub Night.

Auditions for Beauty and the Beast Jr. will take place on September 18th from 1:30-4:30. Students can pickup audition packets and permission slips in the front office between 7:30- 8:00am.

Ahoy, Sea Turtle families!

Friday, September 18th will be Dress Like a Pirate Day! For one gold coin ($1), your student can come to school in their finest pirate attire (students must still follow the Student Dress Code). All treasure collected will support House Celebrations and activities.

Students should bring their gold coin on Friday and give it to their teacher. A swashbuckling photo backdrop will be available for all our little buccaneers to strike their best pirate pose.

𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐍𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫, 𝐭𝐰𝐨 𝐥𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐟𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐦𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐛𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐨𝐭. Neither are new. Both are already in place.

The first is the 𝐒𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐬 𝐒𝐮𝐫𝐭𝐚𝐱 — a sales tax renewal that funds safe, maintained, and modern school facilities.

The Surtax is the small portion of sales tax that stays right here in Brevard to keep school buildings safe, in good repair, and up to date. It funds three things: 𝐬𝐞𝐜𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐛𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬, 𝐟𝐚𝐜𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐢𝐧𝐯𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐲 𝐢𝐧𝐟𝐫𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞.

Over the next several weeks, we'll share more about what the Surtax funds.
