Junior Chance Makers × RISE
Learning Leadership Through Community Collaboration

Our 2026–2027 Junior Chance Makers began their first orientation with a special collaborative session led by RISE (Reflections Interactive Summer Experience), Bergen County Division of Family Guidance.

Through interactive activities and improvisational theater, our students explored communication, confidence, teamwork, and how to better understand and connect with others.

At Give Chances, we believe young leaders grow through meaningful experiences and strong community partnerships. We are excited to continue connecting our Chance Makers with organizations and leaders who can help them learn, grow, and create a positive impact in their communities.

2026–2027 Junior Chance Makers의 첫 오리엔테이션은 Bergen County Division of Family Guidance의 RISE (Reflections Interactive Summer Experience) 팀과 함께하는 특별한 협업 프로그램으로 시작했습니다.

학생들은 다양한 인터랙티브 활동과 즉흥 연극을 통해 소통, 자신감, 팀워크를 배우고 서로를 이해하고 연결하는 방법을 직접 경험했습니다.

Give Chances는 청소년들이 다양한 지역사회 기관 및 리더들과 만나고 경험하며 더 넓은 시각을 가진 리더로 성장할 수 있도록 지속적으로 협력의 기회를 만들어가고 있습니다.

2026–2027 High School Chance Makers — We’re Off to a Great Start!
Students gathered in New Jersey, while others joined us via Zoom from New York and Korea, for our first High School Chance Makers orientation!
We shared chicken, played fun icebreaker games, got to know one another, and talked about what it means to be a Chance Maker.
Throughout the year, students will explore leadership and mental health while planning and carrying out their own Social Impact Projects, giving them opportunities to discover their strengths, develop new skills, and make a meaningful contribution to their communities.
Though they may be joining from different places, they will learn, collaborate, and grow together throughout the year. Give Chances is excited to support these amazing young people and work alongside them to create meaningful change in our communities.
We can’t wait to see where their 2026–2027 Chance Makers journey takes them!

뉴저지에서 함께한 학생들과 뉴욕과 한국에서 Zoom으로 참여한 학생들이 Chance Makers라는 이름으로 첫 만남을 가졌습니다!
첫 오리엔테이션에서는 함께 치킨도 먹고, 재미있는 게임을 통해 서로를 알아가며 앞으로의 활동과 Chance Makers로서의 역할에 대해 이야기했습니다.
올해 학생들은 리더십과 Mental Health에 대해 배우고, 다양한 Social Impact Project를 직접 기획하고 실행하며 자신만의 강점과 가능성을 발견해 나가게 됩니다.
서로 다른 지역에 있지만 함께 배우고, 고민하고, 도전하면서 한 단계씩 성장해 갈 우리 학생들.
Give Chances도 이 멋진 청소년들의 아이디어와 도전을 응원하며, 함께 지역사회에 의미 있는 변화를 만들어가겠습니다.
