Happy Friday Taylor tornadoes! Reminder it is Palisade’s Olde Fashioned Christmas tonight! Tree lighting and Taylor caroling at 5pm. Parade starts at 5:30pm.
Reminder for those bringing stuff for PTO hot chocolate stand reminder drop off next to food town on the east side for big items at 4pm and others can be dropped off at the school no later then 3:30pm. Thank you and See you all there!

The most important action you can take to support school funding is to make sure your student attends school on that day. Much of public education funding from the State of Colorado is based on student count so we encourage you to be sure your child engages in school that day. ✋

Good evening Taylor families! As some of you saw, a package for original arts came home today. (Not everyone got it sent home). If you did receive it please either send it back to your students teacher for them to complete. If you would prefer to do it at home let us and/or the amazing office staff know and we can send home directions and the time frame. Once it’s complete use the information sent home tonight to order your students work on a mug or any other options. Please let me know if you have any questions. Thank you

Exciting news for D51 families!

The US Department of Agriculture recently announced that they are extending their Free Meals for Kids program through the end of December 2020 or until available funding runs out. This means all students in District 51 can access healthy and nutritious breakfast and lunch at school for no additional cost.

Effective Wednesday, September 2, all students at D51 schools will receive free breakfast and lunch, no matter the student's prior free, reduced, or full pay eligibility. Students will not have to present an ID to receive their meals.

We are excited for this news and hope that having accessible and healthy meals for all students will help increase student physical and mental health which will fuel successful learning.
