UT Tyler Palestine faculty had a wonderful time attending Purses & Pearls last week in support of the Palestine ISD Education Foundation and Palestine Independent School District! The UT Tyler School of Nursing was proud to serve as a sponsor, and we are truly grateful to be part of a community that invests in its students and educators. 👛🌟

We were excited to welcome seven senior Health Science students from Palestine High School for a campus tour this week! Students had the opportunity to experience our high-fidelity simulation lab, where lifelike mannequins bring real-world clinical scenarios to life. These hands-on learning environments help prepare future nurses with the clinical judgment, critical thinking, and confidence needed to provide safe, compassionate patient care.

The UT Tyler School of Nursing Palestine Campus was proud to participate in the Palestine High School CTE Showcase last week! Susan Harris, our Campus Academic Advisor for Nursing, along with one of our Level 4 nursing students, met with local high school students to share opportunities within our nursing program and pathways into healthcare careers. We love partnering with our community to build the future of nursing!🌟🩺

Last week, our Palestine University Academy and School of Nursing faculty and staff took a break at 10 a.m. to walk together in support of heart health, wellness, and community. Moments like these remind us that caring for others starts with caring for our health. ❤️👟

Last week, we honored the memory of Madison Bragg with a memorial dedication here at the Palestine campus. Surrounded by her family and classmates, we celebrated the light she brought to our nursing community.

The table and plaque will stand as a reminder of her kindness, her dreams, and the impact she continues to have on all of us. Our Level 4 students also marked their last day on campus, carrying Madison’s spirit and strength with them into their next chapter of their nursing careers. 🧡💙

UT Tyler School of Nursing faculty and students from the Palestine campus proudly joined our community for the Paint Palestine Pink Breast Cancer Walk! Together, we walked in love, hope, and support of survivors, fighters, and families touched by breast cancer. 💗
