Our UT Tyler Palestine Campus Nurses Christian Fellowship (NCF) officers recently organized a Back-to-School Supply Drive to support teachers and students at University Academy. School of Nursing students from Levels 1 through 4 joined together in a friendly competition to collect classroom and school supplies.

Congratulations to our Level 1 nursing students, who collected the most donations and earned a well-deserved pizza party! 🍕🎉

Thank you to all of our students, faculty, and community members who donated. Your generosity will help equip teachers and students with the resources they need for a successful school year! 💙📚

Our Level 2 BSN students work together to explore chronic illnesses, strengthen their understanding of disease processes, and develop person-centered care plans. Through discussion and clinical reasoning, they are building the knowledge and teamwork skills needed to provide compassionate, evidence-based care for clients with chronic health conditions. 🩺📚

Nursing school takes hard work and dedication, while also maintaining self-care and wellness. We were excited to welcome seven senior Health Science students from Palestine High School for a campus tour this week! Students had the opportunity to experience our high-fidelity simulation lab, where lifelike mannequins bring real-world clinical scenarios to life. These hands-on learning environments help prepare future nurses with the clinical judgment, critical thinking, and confidence needed to provide safe, compassionate patient care.
