The Naughty List: BBB warns of top 12 holiday scams The Better Business Bureau is warning consumers ahead of the holiday shopping season to be aware of how scammers deceive consumers.

This time of year more and more scammers are doing anything they can to take advantage of anyone and everyone they can.
They are not giving away free RV's, tiny homes, they are not "blessing families" if you share and type DONE...... Also don't share your age on the post asking how old you are turning.... The more information you put out there the easier it is for them to steal your information.
The found dog post where the comments are turned off are scams too.... Normally those turn into real estate listings within a couple of days...
Below are just a few examples of scam post I have seen today.... Yesterday I saw probably 20 very similar to these.

!!! 𝗔𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗣𝗮𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗰𝗸𝘀 !!!

If you received a check from the City of Palestine, Texas addressed to you, and
• You are not a business that has provided products or services to the City of Palestine or
• A utility customer that is due a refund of your utility deposit,
THEN, the check is very likely to be fraudulent.
