Are you still relying on Facebook for updates about Somerville Elementary and RSU 12? Please download the Sheepscot Valley RSU 12 app from your app store to be sure not to miss a thing. With the app, you can set your notification preferences for one school or all schools. You can find general school information, receive relevant alerts, stay up-to-date on news and events, and parents and guardians of students can connect directly with their child's teachers.

We are compiling a list of Incoming Kindergartners and Pre~K kiddos. If you have or know of someone who has a kiddo that will be 4 by October 15th for Pre~K, or 5 by October 15th for Kindergarten, please contact the school at 207-993-2352. Or you can email me at [email protected].

Did you know that our schools have an app? You can get notifications of news and alerts and even send a message to your child's teachers if you register for Rooms within the app. To get the app, visit your app store and search for Sheepscot Valley RSU 12. Once you download the app, you can select your school. If you are a parent or guardian of an RSU 12 student and want to register for Rooms, look for a text message or email that will arrive shortly. Click the link in that message and log in using the same email address you provided to the school.

We are likely not going to have enough players for the middle school soccer team this year. Please reach out to any of your homeschooled friends, who are in grades 5~8, that might like to play soccer for Palermo School. Thanks for your help with this!!

Don't forget to join us on Tuesday, August 26 from 4:30-5:30 p.m. for our Open House as we get ready to go back to school. Visit with the principal, teachers, and other staff members who are ready to make this school year fun, exciting, and of course, educational. We hope to see all of our families, both old and new!
