🍎💚 Ask a Lion who their teacher is… and they’ll tell you! 💛🦁

We asked some of our little Lions a very important question… “Who’s your teacher?” 🥰

And they were READY with their answers! 😂❤️ There’s just something special about hearing our K–2 kiddos proudly say their teacher’s name.

These are the names they’ll talk about at home, the faces they’ll look for each morning, and the teachers who will help make school feel like a place where they belong. 💚

We think it’s safe to say… our Lions already know who’s on their crew! ⚓️🦁💛

WHEN TO STOP FOR BUSES?
August 7, 2026

With school starting Monday, we want to remind drivers that keeping students safe starts with following school bus laws.

When a school bus extends its stop arm and activates its flashing red lights, STOP. It's the law, and it helps protect children as they get on and off the bus.

Remember:
🛑 On two, or three lane roads, traffic in both directions must stop.
🛑 On multi lane paved highways, all traffic must stop.
🛑 On divided highways with a median, only traffic traveling in the same direction as the school bus must stop.

📵 Slow down, stay alert, and put your phone away. No appointment or errand is more important than a child's safety.

A huge thank you to all the parents for their kindness and patience today during parent pickup. We will get better but need your help. Please make sure you are picking up in the appropriate loop and your school car tag number is visible. We have updated our iDismiss and have worked out some bugs in the app so tomorrow should be better.

If your child normally goes to daycare after school and you pick him/her up, please make sure to let the daycare know.

Finally, please watch for our buses as they enter and exit the campus. They need room for turns so please give them space if you are able. Thank you again! See you all tomorrow!

Our community knows how to take care of our teachers and staff. Thursday we had Meet the Teacher so SouthState Bank wanted to show some love and provide the whole staff with lunch. This morning, Francis Baptist Church had their annual Back to School Breakfast and fed the staff from multiple schools. We are so grateful for the love and support from our community. Thank you, SouthState Bank and Francis Baptist Church for all you do for us!
