🤠🐮 Geography Wednesday: Texas! 🤠🐮

This week, we explored the great state of Texas and met our new friend, “Austin” the cow! 🐮❤️

We learned that Austin is the capital of Texas! ⭐🤠

Austin brought us all the ingredients to make some delicious chocolate milk 🥛🍫, and we had so much fun making it together!

Learning geography is definitely more fun with a little milk, chocolate, and a cow! 😂🐮🥛

🏡❤️ All About Our Families! ❤️🏡

This week was all about family, love, and teamwork! 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦

We went on a family member hunt 🔎, drew portraits of our loved ones, and explored all the fun places we can go with our families while practicing beginning sounds. 🔤

We also learned how we can help at home by cooking, cleaning, doing laundry, and taking care of our pets. 🧹🧺🐶🍳 We even made a graph to see who is part of our families! 📊

And the sweetest part? 💕 We talked about how our classroom is a family too! So, of course, we had to celebrate by baking a cake together! 🎂👩‍🍳👨‍🍳

📚 We also enjoyed lots of morning activities, picked our weekly library book on Monday, and finished the week with our book reports on Friday!

This week was all about discovering what makes each of us special and unique! 💕

🔤 M is for ME! We explored the beginning letter of our names, shared our favorite snacks, colors, toys, TV shows, and characters. 📺🧸🎨

🔢 We practiced the number 1 using our favorite snacks and made fun graphs to see our class favorites! 📊
⭕ We also integrated circles into our activities while learning about our favorite colors.

But our most important lesson was learning to love ourselves just the way we are! 💗 Because there is only one ME—and that makes me pretty special! 🥰✨

Today we had A LOT of work to do in AG class! 🐔🥚😂

We collected eggs, made sure the chickens had plenty of food and water, and checked that everything was under control. Meanwhile, our little scientists got to analyze the quality of the eggs like true egg-sperts! 👩‍🔬🥚🤣

So we took PE inside! 💪🏽🏃‍♀️ We got our exercise on, played Hot Potato, and burned off some of that never-ending toddler energy! 🥔😂

And our babies got in on the fun too with some gross motor activities! 👶💕

Too hot outside? No problem… we’ll bring the fun inside! 🍉😎

✏️🖍️ What a fun week of learning! 🖍️📚

This week we learned how to use and take care of our school supplies! We practiced with crayons, glue sticks, playdough, and pencils while building our fine motor skills and learning to be responsible with our classroom materials.

We also learned how to take care of our books and had so much fun going camping during reading time! 🏕️📖✨

Our first week of school is officially OVER! 🍎💛

We had an amazing first week! This week was all about US! 🥰

We learned all about ourselves, including our names, ages, birthdays, favorite colors, and favorite animals. 🐶🎨🎂

We also worked on some BIG KID skills this week! ✏️📚
✨ CVC words
✨ Letter & number formation
✨ Phonetic spelling
✨Fine motor and life skills
We are so proud of how much our little learners have already accomplished in just ONE week! 🥹💛
