I love WT or I would not teach it, but the idea it's the best and only MA is naive, egotistical and stupid. It's marketing bu****it! That said. I do believe that WT is the only martial art effective against those except experienced martial artists after about 1 to 1.5 years of training, assuming the instructors taught any application to the students, and unfortunately, few do. Commitment to any art will produce great results. Problem is most that try, don't succeed. I am sure in her art the don't refer to her technique as pak saus, but they are executed well, albeit a bit differently than in WT (if taught right, and generally, it's not), and the result is victory. Note also that she matches the opponent's speed, and then having found the free way, goes in for the kill with speed and might...

This is what we teach at Palatine WT. THE WAY IS ALWAYS FREE, AND YOU CAN ALWAYS GO FORWARD, not WHEN THE WAY IS FREE, GO FORWARD. The mind set is completely different. The latter the mind set is, THE WAY IS BLOCKED, so must clear the way, then proceed forward. The former the mind set is, THE WAY IS ALWAYS FREE, FIND IT AND GO FORWARD! Sifu Sergio doesn't say it in the same words, but the how, we say and teach much the same...SLOW AND ANGLES...or FINDING THE FREE WAY HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH SPEED. You match the opponent's speed while finding the free way, then you explode!
