Today our Presbyterian Day School staff had the opportunity to attend the iCare Conference in Victoria, and what an incredible day it was!

From engaging keynote speakers and thought-provoking breakout sessions to learning practical ways to better support the children and families we serve, we came away encouraged, inspired, and full of new ideas for the upcoming school year.

Of course, there was also plenty of fun along the way—from meeting a friendly dinosaur 🦖 to watching amazing Kingdom Dogs and connecting with other educators and ministry leaders who share a heart for serving children.

One message that really stuck with us was that caring for children begins with caring well for one another. As educators, we are committed to continuing to learn, grow, and create a safe, loving, and Christ-centered environment where every child is known, valued, and encouraged to thrive.

A huge thank you to the iCare team for hosting such a meaningful event. We are excited to bring what we’ve learned back to our classrooms as we prepare to welcome our students for another wonderful year! ❤️📚✝️

Presbyterian Day School Families,

We are looking forward to another wonderful year!

As we prepare for the upcoming school year, we are introducing a new way for families to save on tuition while also helping our school plan and budget for the year ahead.

Families who choose to prepay tuition will receive the following discounts:

Pay by Semester: Receive a 3% discount on tuition.
Pay in Full for the School Year: Receive a 7% discount on tuition.
You'll find all of the discounted tuition amounts below.

Prepaid tuition helps our school by providing the funds needed to purchase classroom supplies, curriculum, learning materials, and other resources before the school year begins. Your early commitment allows us to focus on providing the very best educational experience for every child.

Of course, monthly tuition payments will continue to be available for families who prefer that option.

If you have any questions or would like to discuss which payment option is best for your family, please don't hesitate to contact me. I would be happy to help. I am also happy to send a link to pay with the discounted amounts online or check or cash are always welcome (and we receive the full amount, rather than fees taken out).

For nearly 40 years, Presbyterian Day School has provided affordable, high-quality Christian education to children in our community. Today, we need your help to continue that mission.

As a small nonprofit school, tuition covers only a portion of our operating costs. We work hard to keep tuition affordable for local families while providing a nurturing environment where children grow academically, socially, and spiritually.

💙 Our immediate goal is to raise $10,000 to help sustain operations and continue serving local children.

What a joyful and heartwarming evening as we came together to celebrate the Presbyterian Day School Class of 2025-2026 at our End of Year Worship and Celebration!

A heartfelt thank you to our amazing families, dedicated staff, supportive board members, and First Presbyterian Church for walking alongside us this year. Your encouragement, generosity, and faith make this community so special.

Honoring Mrs. Laura Sweet

After nine wonderful years of teaching and loving the children of Presbyterian Day School, Mrs. Laura Sweet is beginning a new chapter.

Mrs. Sweet has touched countless lives through her kindness, patience, dedication, and loving heart. Generations of children and families have been blessed by her care and encouragement.

While we will miss her dearly, we are so grateful for the years she has devoted to our school family. Her impact will continue to live on in every child she has nurtured.

Congratulations to our graduates! We are so proud of each and every one of you.
