We are proud to continue our partnership with Spring Creek Charter School in Paisley, Florida, with a new working capital loan supporting the school’s continued financial stability and day-to-day operations!

Serving more than 600 students in grades Pre-K through 8, Spring Creek has been a trusted part of the Lake County community for nearly three decades. We previously supported the school’s facility expansion, helping accommodate growing enrollment and demand from local families.

Athletics Practice Schedule & Soccer Equipment

Good morning everyone,

Here is the athletics practice schedule for this week and a few updates:

🏐 Volleyball

* Monday, Tuesday & Thursday
* 3:00–4:00 PM

⚽ Soccer

* Tuesday & Thursday
* 3:00–4:30 PM

🏃 Cross Country
Cross Country practice will begin this Thursday. It was originally scheduled to begin tomorrow (8/25), but we are pushing it back a few days.

XC practices will be:

* Monday, Tuesday & Thursday
* 3:00–4:00 PM

Students who are participating in both Cross Country and Soccer are encouraged to attend soccer practice on Tuesdays and Thursdays. We will work around the overlap as much as possible.

⚽ Soccer Sponsorship Opportunity

If anyone is interested in sponsoring our soccer program, it would be greatly appreciated. Our student-athletes are currently in need of shin guards, and sponsorships would help us provide the equipment our athletes need to safely participate.

I also want to give a huge shoutout to Andy Douglas, AD from Round Lake Charter, who recently donated cleats, socks, and shirts to help support our athletics programs. This is huge, many of our students do not have the proper equipment for the upcoming season.

Thank you to everyone who continues to support our student athletes. We are building something special, and every bit of support makes a difference.

Coach Hufstedler organized a school clean up day for Saturday and these wonderful folks came out and put in some serious sweat equity to spruce up Sring Creek Charter School!

We want to thank Jacob and Kayla O’Neal and their hardworking kids, Bobby and Valerie Neu, Bud and Kim O’Neal, Jason Scheunamann, Mr. Locke, Kelly Ferrie, Coach and Kayla Huffstedler and their tenacious 3 year old. We even had help from the south of France with the Hufstedler’s foriegn exchange student Mattis pitching in to help!!

We also want to give a huge shout out to Ray’s ProWash for volunteering his time and equipment to power wash the front of the school!! If you need power washing done, call Ray!!

Ice Cream Day starts tomorrow for students at Spring Creek! Ice Cream is sold during lunch and is $1 every Friday.

Today, 3rd graders had their first "Book Tasting." They got to preview the books for their upcoming unit in ELA while eating yummy snacks! In Module 1 they will strengthen their reading and writing skills while learning how and why scientists & artists explore the sea.
