Our students continued building important skills in Gym Class today! They worked on developing their gross motor skills, practicing coordination, balance, movement, and body control.

Our 1st grade students are building their literacy skills and becoming stronger, more confident readers every day!
Today, students were introduced to short-i spelling words and practiced reading and spelling them. They also worked with partners to read together, building fluency and confidence while supporting one another. Students searched for and identified rhyming words, strengthening their phonics and word-recognition skills. They also participated in Magnetic Reading, giving them another engaging opportunity to practice important reading skills

I’m also so proud of all of our kindergartners for working hard during literacy today! Their work is improving more and more each day, and it is so exciting to see their growth! 📚✏️

In 1st grade, we began discussing number patterns, while our kindergartners practiced counting and building their number sense. 🔢

So proud of all of our students and the hard work they are putting in each day! ❤️

📚✨ Our 2nd and 3rd grade classes wrapped up our Early Settlers & Native Americans lessons with some hands-on learning fun! 🏕️
Our students got creative while making paper dolls, pioneer hats, teepees, and even their very own pretzel cabins! 🏠🥨 We love making history come to life through fun, interactive activities! ❤️📖

2nd and 3rd grade have been learning all about the early days of our country! We have been focusing on how our lives are much different compared to the early settlers. With a scavenger hunt full of fun facts, our students have become experts on Early Colonial History!📜🪶

Our 2nd and 3rd grade students had a wonderful time in our new Library & Media Center today! We began by listening to the story Library Mouse and talking about the importance of taking care of our books. Students discussed how to handle books carefully, keep them clean, and return them so that others can enjoy them too. Then came the exciting part—choosing and checking out chapter books!
