Help us reach our goal! You may donate with a check made to PHS Music, cash, or talk to a current member of the PHS Band! We will use these funds to help regular instrument maintenance, purchase music, provide travel opportunities throughout the school year to events like All-District band and provide reeds, cork grease, valve oil, etc.!

Returning band students! Don’t forget we start band camp tomorrow from 10am -3pm! If you need a school owned instrument the band room will open at 9am. Parent or guardian must sign your rental form before taking your instrument home. Also, please bring a packed lunch, and note that you will not have access to a microwave.

Beginning band students! Beginning band camp will be Friday August 14th from 12pm-3pm. Students in 5th through 12th grade who have never participated in band are encouraged to attend even if they did not sign up in May! Students will try each instrument and learn essential music literacy skills to kickstart their year in band!

Attention all returning band members!! Media day is set for Monday at the football field. Students need to meet on the 10 yard line no later than 7:05pm! Please wear jeans and a black Paintsville shirt. Uniform jackets will be at the football field for individual pictures.
