Amy's Sunshine Center

🌳 An exciting new chapter is beginning at Amy’s Sunshine Center in Horseheads! 🌳

We are happy to announce that our Horseheads center is beginning its transition to new ownership and will become Bug’s Learning Grove.

The Lewis family has been part of the Amy’s Sunshine Center family since our Horseheads center opened in 2023. During that time, they have fallen in love with childcare and have developed a meaningful connection with our children, families, staff, and community.

Beginning October 1, the Lewis family will assume management of the center. Until Bug’s Learning Grove receives its license, our teams will continue working closely together to ensure a smooth and thoughtful transition.

Our entire management team is excited to collaborate and make this change as comfortable as possible for our children, families, and staff.

Bug’s Learning Grove is now:

🌱 Accepting new enrollments
🌱 Hiring caring and dedicated team members

We are excited to see the center continue growing under the care of a family that already knows and loves our community.

More information will be shared soon!

🎀 Barbie Donations Needed! 🎀

Our daycare is looking to add more Barbies to our dramatic play area, and we'd love your help!

If you have gently loved Barbies, Barbie clothes, shoes, accessories, or furniture that are no longer being used, we'd be so grateful for your donation. These toys provide hours of imaginative play and help encourage creativity, communication, and social skills.

Donations can be dropped off at:
