✨ One of our Bush Campus Cosmetology seniors recently had the opportunity to work with a client who spoke very little English. Because Spanish is the student's first language, they were able to communicate, build trust, and create a welcoming experience that went far beyond a beauty service.
Moments like this remind us that cosmetology is about so much more than hair, skin, and beauty. It's about connection, confidence, communication, and making every person who sits in your chair feel seen, valued, and cared for.
While our students are developing the technical skills needed for successful careers in the beauty industry, they are also learning how to connect with people from diverse backgrounds and create inclusive environments where everyone feels they belong.
As we celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month, we're especially proud to recognize the languages, cultures, traditions, and experiences that strengthen our community every day.
What a beautiful example of a student not only learning a career, but also learning how to serve, support, and connect with their community.
