Maui Christian Academy SHAPING LIVES TO SHAPE THE FUTURE Applications are accepted for the next school year as early as October. Please check with the office for more information.

Parents/guardians are welcome to call the school office to request a packet of information or to make arrangements to visit the school and classrooms. Preschool: Students must be three no later than December 31st of the school year and be fully toilet trained. Kindergarten: To maximize early school success, students must be five years old by August 31 of the year they enter Kindergarten. Applica

nts must take a readiness test to determine their ability to understand and follow directions. Parent/guardians are also interviewed. Grades 1 - 8: Students applying for admission are tested to determine their general ability and level of academic achievement. To be admitted, they must test at or above grade level. This is followed by a parent interview with the principal.

We believe it’s so important for students to attend Christian colleges! That’s why we became members of the North American Coalition for Christian Admissions Professionals (NACCAP), so that we can host the Maui Christian College Fair. Mahalo to all who came to our 70th Anniversary Celebration last month. It was such a special time to be together! We remembered, hugged those we haven't seen in a decade or more, and worshiped and praised our faithful God! He has sustained, provided for, led, and protected His school in Paia for seven decades.

Mahalo, Dan Reeve, the grandson of Ed & Doris Todd, who traveled all the way from New Zealand to be be with us and share at the banquet dinner. Mahalo John Smith, the Director of the Office of Recovery, who presented a certificate on behalf of the County of Maui. One of the highlights of the weekend was Mrs. Todd playing her accordion and all of us singing "Standing on the Promises" together!

With such thankful hearts, we will be celebrating 70 years of abiding in Christ all school year!

In 1956, Ed Todd wrote a letter to the Christian colleges on the mainland about sending summer teams to help with the ministry. Our Summer Team has now been coming for decades to serve at the school and love the keiki on Maui!

Bob & Brenda Bonheim faithfully led the teams for many years. The legacy continues as their son and his wife, Elizabeth Corey Bonheim, now serve as the team directors. It truly is a family ministry, with the entire Bonheim 'Ohana supporting this work in so many ways. Words cannot express how grateful we are for all of them! ❤️
