What a phenomenal couple of days!
Yesterday, our team enjoyed some well-deserved free time connecting, growing, and sharing some after-work fun.
Today, the celebration continued as we officially received the Top of the Mountain award and our re-accreditation awards! We are also incredibly proud of our own Mrs. Sandy Fountain for her nomination as the CGACS Teacher of the Year.
A huge congratulations and thank you to Mrs. Jones, Mrs. Lopez, and Ms. Mendoza, who represented us beautifully by teaching sessions at the conference.💙💛

Our Physical Science students took learning outside the classroom to explore Newton’s Laws of Motion through a hands-on kite-flying activity!

Who says science has to stay inside a classroom? Sometimes the best lessons happen with a little sunshine, a little wind, and a kite soaring high!

We are so excited about our High School Praise & Worship Team! These students are using the gifts and talents God has given them to help lead our school family into worship during Chapel services.

What a blessing it is to watch our students step forward, serve others, and use their talents for His glory. We are praying that God continues to grow this team—not just in musical ability, but in faith, leadership, and a heart for worship.

We can’t wait to see what God does through these students!💙💛

We’ve been having some fun—and doing some serious learning—at The Shepherd’s School this year!

Mr. Buck’s Life Skills class took their learning straight into the kitchen and prepared an entire meal of Indian Butter Chicken with rice for their teachers!

These students planned the meal, made the shopping list, shopped for ingredients, stayed within budget, prepped, cooked, and served a delicious meal from start to finish.

These are the kinds of skills that will serve them long after high school!

And judging by this meal… there’s no college ramen in this group! 😂

We love watching our students learn skills that prepare them not just for the next grade, but for life!💙💛

Today, The Shepherd’s School took time to pause, remember, and honor the lives forever changed on September 11, 2001.

We remembered the lives lost, and prayed for the families who faced unimaginable loss, and the first responders and everyday heroes who demonstrated extraordinary courage and selflessness.

We remember. We honor. We will never forget. 🇺🇸

🎒✨ The wait is over...it's the FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL! ✨🎒

The halls were filled with smiling faces, backpacks were packed with possibilities, and classrooms were buzzing with excitement. Today marked the beginning of a brand-new adventure filled with learning, laughter, friendships, and opportunities to grow in Christ.

At The Shepherd's School, we believe every new school year is a gift from God—a chance to discover new talents, build lasting relationships, and become all He has created us to be.

Here's to a year of academic excellence, Christ-centered learning, and unforgettable memories. We are so thankful to welcome both returning and new families to our Shepherd's School family!

Welcome Back

Our teachers have been busy all week preparing to welcome our students back! From general meetings and trainings to organizing classrooms and creating warm, welcoming spaces, our teachers have been working hard to make sure we are ready for a wonderful school year.

On Friday, we gathered with fellow educators from across the Glades for our annual Back-to-School Teacher Appreciation Breakfast. We were especially blessed to have our very own Mrs. Jones share a powerful word of encouragement as our guest speaker. ❤️

Afterward, we enjoyed a refreshing Cup of Joy to help kick off the school year on a great note! ☕️

This morning we were blessed to have every classroom prayed over by our Good Shepherd Church family. We cannot wait to see everyone Tuesday, and we hope you are just as excited as we are! This year is already off to a great start, and we are so excited to see how God moves in our school, in our classrooms, and in the lives of our students.
🙏✨

See you all Tuesday! We can’t wait! 💙

Today we celebrate the blessings of freedom and give thanks to God for the privilege of living in a nation where we can worship Him openly and teach His truth boldly.

"Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord." — Psalm 33:12

From our Shepherd's School family to yours, we wish you a safe, joyful, and blessed Fourth of July. May God bless America! ❤️🤍💙🇺🇸

Last night, we celebrated a very special milestone as the Class of 2026 graduated from The Shepherd’s School!

From kindergarten classrooms to senior year memories, this group of outstanding young men and one wonderful young woman has grown before our eyes into leaders ready to step into their next chapter. While we will miss their laughter and presence in our hallways, we are excited to watch God guide each of them into futures filled with purpose and promise.

Congratulations, seniors! Your Shepherd’s School family is proud of you and will always be cheering you on.
