Our Savior Lutheran School

Our Savior Lutheran School in Pagosa Springs, Colorado, is seeking some candidates to join our team as elementary teachers for the 2023-2024 school year – Grades 1-2 and Grades 6-8.
We are a classical school using the following curriculum: Spalding Writing Road to Reading, Saxon Math, Song School Latin and Songbook Latin, Shurley Grammar, and Elemental Science.

We are located in SW Colorado in the San Juan Mountains. You can enjoy mountain climbing and biking, river rafting, skiing, the hot springs, and more in your time off.

We were all saddened to hear of the tragic injury and subsequent death of Mrs. Flaming yesterday while serving the kids at Pagosa Middle School, and we pray that her family and all of those who knew her would be comforted by the hope of the resurrection of the dead and the life that will never end.

We're also aware that there are likely some kids at Our Savior who knew Mrs. Flaming and will be saddened even deeper still, so we will keep an extra eye out for sensitive students throughout the school day.

Our teachers are always happy to provide additional support during times like these, and I and Pastor Packer are also available if your child would like to talk one on one with us.

7th and 8th Grade students and their families lining up for a feast after the “Address to the Haggis” on the first annual Burns’ Night Supper & Poetry Recitation at Our Savior. A good time was had by all with the possible exception of eating the neeps! 😂

OSLS will be on a 2 Hour Delay tomorrow, Feb. 23.

Drop off will start at 9:45, and classes will begin at 10:00.

Due to worsening weather conditions, school has been cancelled today, Feb. 22.
