Camp Jessie’s Kids, a day camp for children ages 6-14 who have suffered the loss of someone they care deeply about or have someone in their family who is very sick at this time, will be held on Saturday, May 2, from 9:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m.

The camp is free thanks to generous gifts to the McLeod Health Foundation and donations from local businesses and individuals in the community.

The deadline for registration is April 24.

Spring Break: Mission Accomplished

Attention Students and Staff,

The bells have rung, the laptops are closed, and the hallways are officially quiet. We have made it to Spring Break!

Now that the mid-semester hustle is behind us, it’s time to shift gears. Whether you are heading out on a trip or planning a world-class "staycation" on your sofa, we hope you take this time to truly disconnect.

A few friendly reminders for the break:

Rest & Recharge: You’ve earned the right to sleep past 7:00 AM.

Unplug: Try to step away from the screens and enjoy some fresh air.

Stay Safe: Whatever your plans look like, take care of yourselves and each other.

To our staff: Thank you for your incredible hard work. To our students: Thank you for your energy and dedication.

We look forward to seeing everyone back on campus, refreshed and ready for the final stretch of the school year. Have a wonderful, relaxing break!

Our Annual Family Picnic Day was a wonderful celebration of our amazing families! Today was filled with beautiful sunshine, smiling faces, and lots of good eating. Our Annual Math Night was a huge success! We had an amazing turnout of families, with lots of parent participation and engagement throughout the evening. Our teachers did a fantastic job facilitating fun, interactive math games that kept students excited about learning.
From laughter to learning, it was truly a fun time had by all! Thank you to our families and staff for helping make this event so special. A big shout-out to Mrs. Hilliard’s first grade class with the highest participation!

As a wonderful culmination to our Read Across America Week, our students dressed up as their favorite book characters and participated in our special Reading with Dads event. Dads and father figures visited classrooms throughout the school to read with our students and share their love of reading. Parents joined us this week to learn meaningful strategies to support their children at home in reading and math, while also gaining a deeper understanding of the importance of consistent school attendance. When families and schools work together, our students win! Thank you to all of the parents and guardians who took the time to join us this week. Your involvement makes a difference, and your commitment to your child’s success does not go unnoticed.
